Chinese Samosa & Roll can be served as a snack or as an appetizer at any party or a get-together. You know why it is popular with this name because it is made with thin sheets (spring roll sheets). Chinese Samosas are in different shapes, however, the triangle shape is more popular.

Chinese Samosa & Rolls are the main dishes during the Ramazan month of the Islamic Calendar. Rest of the year, in Pakistan and India these snacks are available around the corner of the street. These are popular food outlets during lunchtime near school and offices.

Ingredients for samosa and roll filling:

  • 1tbsp oil
  • 2cups shredded carrot
  • 2cups shredded cabbage
  • 1cup green peas
  • 1tbsp crushed black pepper
  • 1tbsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded chicken
  • One cup of spring onions
  • 1 cup bell pepper
  • 1tbsp vinegar
  • 1tbsp soy sauce

Ingredients for Sheets:

These sheets are easily available in markets. In Pakistan and India, These are available with the name of Chinese roll Patti whereas those who live in the UK, they can buy from ASDA, Tesco, etc. If you want to make it at home, follow the video link.

  • 1/4 salt
  • 2tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup water or as required
  • some flour
