Lasagne is made by stacking layers of thin flat pasta and filled with either meat mince (Beef Lasagne) or vegetables. Today we are making a beef lasagne dish.
Ingredients for Cooking the Mince:
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 3 chopped garlic
- One kg beef mince
- A tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 cans of chopped tomatoes or 10 chopped medium tomatoes
- A bunch of coriander
- 1 cup of chicken stock
Ingredients for Making White Sauce:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cup milk
- 1/4 of nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- A tsp black pepper
Ingredients for Boiling the Lasagne Sheets:
- 2 tbsp of salt
- 8 lasagne sheets
Ingredients for Assembling the Lasagne:
- 250g shredded mozzarella
- 2 mozzarella ball
